Igor Dodon had a meeting with delegation of European University Sports Association

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, met with the delegation of the European University Sports Association, headed by its president, the representative of Poland, Adam Roczek. The meeting was attended by leaders of the sports federations in Romania, Portugal, and Armenia, as well as the rector of the University of Physical Education and Sport of the Republic of Moldova, President of the Federation of University Sports in Moldova, Veaceslav Manolachi.

The head of state told the guests about the active support provided by the Moldovan Presidency to our athletes and to youth in general. In this context, Igor Dodon mentioned that this year, under the aegis of the head of state and with the support of the First Lady's Foundation "Din Suflet", there have been organized 23 sports competitions and five international scientific and practical conferences on sports development.

Also, the President of the country proposed to the European delegates to develop a plan for the organization and running of a large sports event in Moldova in 2019 under the aegis of the head of state.
