President Maia Sandu had a meeting with Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu

President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met today in Bucharest with Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu, who hosted her at Elisabeta Palace. During their discussions, the head of state spoke about the increasingly close relations between Chișinău and Bucharest, Moldova's process of European integration, and the impact of the security situation in the region.

"The Romanian Royal House has provided significant support to our European aspirations, and we continue to rely on their assistance as we take the next steps towards accession, which will set us on a clear path of development. We also discussed the projects supported by the Romanian Royal House in the Republic of Moldova, including initiatives in the fields of education, culture, health, as well as social and humanitarian endeavors," stated President Maia Sandu.

Furthermore, during the visit, President Sandu planted an oak tree in the presence of Her Majesty Margareta and His Royal Highness Prince Radu in the Palace garden, symbolizing the robust relationship being built between Moldova and Romania.
