President Maia Sandu had a phone call with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte this evening. The officials discussed the European Commission's recommendation to offer the Republic of Moldova the candidate status to the EU and the efforts that our country needs to make in order to advance on its European path. In this context, President Maia Sandu said that our country counts on the support of the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the European Council on 23 and 24 June.
