President Maia Sandu met with Congressmen David Price, Chairman of the Democratic Partnership in the House of Representatives, and August Pfluger, the Republican Party's lead representative on the Intelligence Subcommittee on Homeland Security and Counterterrorism - both co-chairs of the Congressional Friendship Caucus.
The Head of State noted the importance of the political support of the US Congress, including the Democratic Partnership in the House of Representatives, for democratic transformation in Moldova. President Maia Sandu also expressed her appreciation for the support of the American partners in carrying out reforms and strengthening public institutions in Moldova, as well as for the assistance provided to cope with the multiple crises we are going through.
The Head of State thanked Congressman David Price for his unconditional support to Moldova over the years and for all the initiatives launched within the US Congressional Friendship Caucus, which he has led since 2012.
