The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met in New York with the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputova. The two Heads of State spoke about the strengthening of Moldovan-Slovak relations and the security situation in the region.
The Head of State thanked President Čaputova for the humanitarian aid received in spring, that helped us manage the refugee crisis. She also expressed her appreciation for Slovakia's support for our country's European integration aspirations and for the assistance received over the years through the Slovak Agency for International Cooperation and Development "Slovak Aid".
