Igor Dodon laid flowers at the monument to Mihai Eminescu.
The Head of State noted that despite the fact that the poet's life was full of adversity and ended too early, he left a vast cultural heritage of undisputable significance that we will preserve and transfer to our descendants.
“The priceless creativity of Eminescu remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration for all of us - his readers and admirers. At the same time, Mihai Eminescu was also a great philosopher. His works are distinguished by a critical analysis of the social and political life of that time, preserving its relevance in our days," Igor Dodon stressed.
