Commitment to the principle of peace, constructive foreign policy, as well as contribution to solving complex problems faced by the underdeveloped countries – all this aroused the sympathy of my people.

Also, I would like to mention that Japan is one of the priorities of our foreign policy on the Asian continent, and I am pleased to note that a lasting friendship has been already set between both countries. We managed by joint efforts to expand and diversify cooperation. I am referring to the 2KR Project – an example of efficiency and utility. Via funds provided by the Japanese people, agriculture of my state has been reset.

We welcome the support of projects on healthcare, education, culture and science – key-sectors of Moldovan nation. In the context, I reiterate Moldova’s willingness to further promote drawing investments and boosting the economic exchanges.

I am honored that Japan is a firm supporter of European integration, national project we are committed to carry out despite regional challenges. Backing the democratic reforms, economic, cultural and social progress, the Japanese state helps us to progress in our pro-European aspirations.
