The President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon had a working meeting with the Ambassador of the United States of America in our country, H.E. Dereсk J. Hogan.
The officials addressed a wide range of topics on the bilateral relations agenda, with Igor Dodon emphasizing Moldova’s interest in strengthening them. At the same time, the interlocutors discussed the epidemiological situation and the efforts of our countries in combating the infection with the new type COVID-19 virus.
The parties also addressed the political situation in the Republic of Moldova. The head of state mentioned the intentions of the Moldovan authorities to continue the implementation of socio-economic and infrastructure projects, commitments previously assumed.
Igor Dodon reiterated the presidenc’s firm stance on further promoting a balanced foreign policy.
