President Maia Sandu met with a delegation of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE), led by the party's Vice-President Henrik Bach Mortensen. The discussion focused on security uncertainties in the region and the support of European parties in our EU accession process.
The head of state stressed that although the war in Ukraine deeply affects our security and economy, work is being done daily to carry out reforms to meet the nine recommendations put forward by the European Commission. The President also thanked the Alliance for its interest in supporting reforms in the field of justice and the rule of law and said that we are counting on ALDE's support in keeping our country on the Brussels agenda.
