President Maia Sandu and Greek Foreign Minister discussed about the regional security situation

President Maia Sandu and Greek Foreign Minister Nicos Dendias discussed about the security developments in the region and in the Republic of Moldova today at the Annual Economist Government Roundtable in Athens. The Head of State reconfirmed our country's commitment to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and underscored that the authorities' priority is to ensure citizens’ security.

The officials also discussed about the actions undertaken by the Republic of Moldova to advance on the European path after obtaining the status of EU candidate country. President Maia Sandu reconfirmed government's determination to carry out the reforms it has started and to bring the country closer to European living standards. In this context, the Head of State thanked Greek diplomacy for supporting our country's European agenda.
