The second summit of the European Political Community (EPC) will take place next spring in the Republic of Moldova. The announcement was made by President Maia Sandu ahead of a press conference held on the evening of 6 October in Prague with Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic and initiator of the EPC, and Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the host country, the Czech Republic.
"The proposal to host the meeting of 44 leaders of European states and regions in our country underlines the unequivocal support of our partners for Moldova's European course and future. It also reflects the pragmatic and result-oriented character that we want to give to the European Political Community created today", said President Maia Sandu.
