President met with representatives of the IMF mission

President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon met with the head of the IMF mission in Moldova Ben Kelmanson, as well as Volodymyr Tulin.

The sides exchanged views on the economic situation in Moldova, discussed implementation of reforms, as well as numerous risks and challenges that our country faces.

The Moldovan leader noted that "to ensure sustainable and stable economic development of our country, it is necessary to introduce effective mechanisms of action for the medium and long term".

"Moldova is obliged to build relations with its external partners both from the East and from the West, and establish effective cooperation with international organizations in order to overcome existing problems for the benefit of all citizens of our country," the Head of the republic said.
