In Germany, President Maia Sandu spoke with her Finnish counterpart

In Munich, Moldovan President Maia Sandu met with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, with whom she discussed the multiple security challenges on the European continent, as well as those that our country faces. The Head of State expressed her interest in closer bilateral cooperation.

"I thanked the President for supporting our country's democratic reform agenda and our actions in the field of European integration, assumed once the status of the candidate country for accession to the European Union was obtained," said President Maia Sandu.
