President Maia Sandu had a meeting with Angela Sax, head of the office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Moldova (EBRD), at the end of her mandate. During the discussions, the President appreciated the contribution of Angela Sax in stimulating investments from the EBRD in our country and appreciated the support given by the bank in the implementation of projects in the field of infrastructure, supporting the private sector and promoting good practices to improve the investment climate.
The head of state thanked for the prompt help from the EBRD in overcoming crisis situations. With the support of the EBRD, Moldova is investing in energy infrastructure and diversifying gas sources. President Maia Sandu conveyed that we continue to count on support in the development of transport and energy interconnections with the European Union.
