Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, discussed the direct effects of the war in Ukraine on the Republic of Moldova at the Munich Conference. The head of state mentioned that these are felt particularly in the energy sphere, but we are managing to face these challenges with the help of our partners.
"In Munich, I spoke with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre, whom I thanked in particular for his country's support through the Energy Vulnerability Reduction Fund to compensate our citizens. We also discussed security threats to us and the region", concluded President Maia Sandu.
