President Maia Sandu spoke with the President Klaus Iohannis

The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu spoke today with the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis. The two Heads of State discussed about the difficult regional situation caused by the war in Ukraine, as well as about the decisions taken at yesterday's European Council. President Maia Sandu thanked President Klaus Iohannis for his support and solidarity with the Republic of Moldova, in the context of current developments, and for his commitment to help our country.

The two Heads of State also agreed that the Republic of Moldova and Romania should coordinate their actions to ensure the necessary assistance to refugees from Ukraine.
