President Nicolae Timofti today laid flowers at the monument to Stefan cel Mare.
Timofti also laid flowers at the “Maica Indurerata” (Grieving Mother) monument at the Eternitate (Eternity) memorial venue.
Subsequently, Timofti participated in events dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of Moldova’s Independence, among which folk parade, held on the Great National Assembly Square.
