Timofti thanked the Slovenian authorities for having included Moldova on the list of those five priority states, which would benefit from the Slovenian Assistance Programme for 2011-2015. Projects on infrastructure modernisation and social protection would be financed within this programme.

Nataša Prah informed Timofti that the Slovenian parliament would ratify the Moldova-EU Association Agreement as soon as possible.

Nataša Prah said that Slovenia would provide Moldova with the needed expertise, in order to speed up the process of Moldova’s aligning with the standards of the European Union.

During the meeting with Minh Tri Nguyen, Nicolae Timofti voiced satisfaction with the development of the bilateral trade ties and highlighted the Vietnamese authorities’ support provided to carry out a mission of promoting the Moldovan wine products on the Vietnamese market in April 2013. (video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sATnNgDfg7w&feature=youtu.be)
