President Nicolae Timofti today sent a message of condolences to Latvian President Andris Berzins on the tragic event that occurred in Riga, the presidential press service has reported.
The message says:

I was deeply sorrowed to learn about the tragedy which took place at a trade centre in Riga, which resulted in numerous losses of human lives and dozens injured.
On behalf of Moldova’s people and on my own behalf, I express you and all the Latvian people our feelings of sympathy and solidarity.
Please, your Excellency, convey sincere condolences to the mourning families.”.
